The
building's character combines influences of Chinese housing, the
lifestyle of the native Lanna people and continental architecture.
All building materials are from our native province of Chiang Mai so
as to be in perfect keeping with our climate and also to retain a
true sense of Lanna history.
The many traits
and the differing cultures of various races have had an influence
upon the beliefs, religion, customs, costumes, cuisine and
architecture of Chiang Mai. |

| The chambers
of Tri Yaan Na Ros are designed in keeping with the influences of
the glory days of Chiang Mai (King Rama V reign). The influence
of missionaries, Chinese life and Lanna cultures appear in the
teak wood furniture and the decorations and Burmese silks in natural
heartwood hue resemble the atmosphere of well over a century ago. |
