TOP RESORT
Koh Chang
We are a small luxury beach resort in a tropical garden setting on
White Sand Beach, with 14 rooms and 3 bungalows fitted with
air-conditioning, television, king-size double beds, hot water,
shower and in-room safety deposit box, among other amenities.
Our
resort is flanked by a crystal clear turquoise sea and the pristine
tropical jungle of the national park. You will enjoy a great
sea-view and sunsets on one side and an amazing view of the jungle
and mountains on the other.

You can relax in our hammocks or use our small private bay for
swimming and snorkeling.
The resort as it is today grew up in stages. At first we just had
the building but when an additional piece of land became available,
we bought it and decided to turn it into a private house with two
guestrooms. When we had completed the house, we built three
bungalows.
Other buildings followed and the infrastructure established: two
wells, large water tanks and parking space were added. The garden
was designed to accommodate a waterfall, lakes, bird cages and a
Thai ghost house. With the hotel construction completed, the
business started up.
We run the resort as a family business: we keep it very clean and
we try to provide the very best service to our guests.

ACCOMMODATION
Top Resort Koh Chang
offers 12 hotel rooms (2 or 4 persons), 2 additional rooms rooms (2
and 3 persons) 3 Sea View Bungalows, 2 Garden Bungalows and 1
Family Bungalow in the well tended garden, too.
The hotel rooms are situated in the main building of the
resort, with a very comfortable living space of 30 square metres.
All rooms have a big balcony and are equipped with wooden furniture,
air-conditioner, fan, cable TV, desk, big mirror, mini-bar and
wardrobe, with a built-in safety deposit box. The bathroom has a hot
shower, designed in European style.
The 2-person rooms are available with either a double bed or two
single beds. 4-person rooms are available with one double bed and a
bunk bed or with two double beds. An additional bed can easily be
supplied, so we can accommodate 3- or 5-person rooms respectively.
The other double rooms are equipped with double beds,
air-conditioner, fan, cable TV, fridge and wardrobe, also with a
built-in safety deposit box, and the bathroom has a hot shower,
designed in European style. However, in these rooms, additional beds
cannot be accommodated.
The bungalows have a living room with an alcove beside a
comfortable double bed. The rooms have an air-conditioner, fan,
cable TV and a built-in safety deposit box. The bathroom has hot a
shower in European design. Additionally, the bungalows have a
fully-equipped kitchen and a washing machine, and the terrace
provides you with great views of the gardens.

Hotel Rooms
The double rooms are situated in the main building; they
are about 30 square metres large. Every room contains it own balcony
with about 6 square metres.
You have the choice, either you take a room with one
King-Size-Bed (6ft)or a room with two single beds (2X 3ft). Because
of the large room, an additional bed is available. Bookings for 3
persons are welcomed.
All rooms are equipped with massive wood furniture,
individually controlled air conditioning, fan, cable-TV, desk,
Make-Up-Desk with big mirror, mini-bar with well filled fridge and
very big wardrobe with built-in safety deposit box.

Family Suite Room
Our family rooms for 4 people are situated in the main
building of Top Resort.
You have the choice, either you take a room with two
Queen-Size-Beds (5ft) or a room with two one Queen-Size-Bed (5ft) +
bunk bed (2X 3ft). Because of the large room, an additional bed is
available. Bookings for 5 persons are welcomed, too.

Family
Suite Bungalows
With its two separate bed rooms, living room, kitchen and bath
room the bungalow is recommend especially for families with children.
Each of the two bed rooms and the living room has an individually
controlled air conditioner, too.
The family bungalow is situated in the upper garden area not far
from the swimming pool. Because of the large room, an additional bed is available.

Pool bar
The swimming pool with the two basins offers our guests lots of
fun for old and young. Five red parasols provide enough shadow for
the sun beds.
You can get bath towels free of charge at the pool bar!
Our pool bar with its central position is a favored meeting place.
You can get cold beers, delicious fruit shakes, a wide range of
spirituous beverages and mixed drinks. You can enjoy many
several cocktails, too. To satisfy the little hunger we have an
assortment of snacks.

LOCATION

Koh Chang is 315 kilometers away from Bangkok in the province of Trat.
For a map of where we are located on Koh Chang.
AIR : Bangkok Airways
flies to Trat from Bangkok which takes about 45 minutes.
AIR-CONDITIONED BUS :
First/second-class and VIP air-con buses leave from the Eastern Bus
Terminal at Ekkamai, on Sukhumvit Road, serviced by the BTS Skytrain.
ROAD : If you coming
by road, one of the most painless ways to travel is order a taxi
that will take you all the way to the ferry port at Koh Chang. If
you're a good negotiator, you can pay as little as 2,500 baht one
way. By hiring a private car or motorbike, you make the decisions as
to how and when to travel. The best way out of Bangkok is to take
Highway 3 on the Bangna -Trat road until you reach the Chonburi
bypass. Continue along this road, or take the toll way, then take
the exit for Klaeng on Highway 344. When you reach Klaeng, get back
on to Highway 3 again (Highway 3 goes via Pattaya and Rayong, which
you don't want). Continue on through Khlung and, from here, about
half-way to Trat, turn off on to Highway 3156, the Laem Ngop-Saen
Tung road, which will take you along the coast to the ferry ports.
FERRY TIMES : Ferries
leave from one of three piers every 30 minutes from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. Once
on the other side, sawngthaews are available to take you to
directly to the resort on White Sand Beach.
