The garden is one of the most beautiful ones in the whole region, with lovely
flowers, ponds, fish, butterflies and birds, and a softly shaped 15 m pool
in front of the restaurant part. There is a little river and a manmade
lake within the garden where the guest can catch a nice fish for dinner.

Room type D room size 20 m2
Same as room A but this room has a little closed in garden connected to
the bathroom. Over this garden and the patio there is a pergola. From the
patio one has a nice view towards the fish lake and fisherman house. This
room can connect to room type A through double doors to form a family suit. |

The closest airport is situated at Nakorn si Thammarat about 30 minutes by car
(48 km) from Ekman Garden Resort. There are regular flights three
times a day between Nakorn si Thammarat and Bangkok. The flight
takes 1 hour 15 minutes. However the time schedule doesn't suit the
flights from Scandinavia perfectly. Therefore it may be better to go
to Surat Thani airport which is 90 minutes (100km) from the resort.
There are motor roads from both airports to Ekman Garden Resort.
The transportation from the airports has to be administered by
the resort, since regular bus traffic between the cities is to
difficult for a non Thai speaking passenger to understand. The price
of transport depends on how many persons there are to be transported
at the same time and of course of the distance.
The left-hand
driving and the general traffic is demanding but not impossible for
a good driver if the guest likes to rent a car. Important directions
are written in western letters.
It is about 30 minutes drive
to the ferry line to Koh Samui. The ferry trip takes about 1,5
hours. Time by car to Phuket is three hours, to Krabi two and a half,
to Trang two and to Stone three hours |
