New to this heaven is the Nora Beach Resort & Spa. Nora may just be starting off but friendly staff and its unique Southern Thai atmosphere is backed by hundreds of years of Thai hospitality. Nora is named after the traditional mystical dance of southern Thailand. It is hoped that the resort’s service and relaxed ambience will emulate the grace and charm of this ancient art of dance.
The resort enjoys a spectacular hillside setting, overlooking a secluded bay just north of the world-famous Chaweng Beach. Although only few minutes from the island’s boutique airport and a short drive from central Chaweng, Nora is secluded and private, a little village within lush gardens.

Pra-Suthon Restaurant/ Lobby Lounge
Thai food has transcended from street food to be hailed as one of the world’s culinary masterpieces - at Nora Beach Resort you’ll see why. As Nora’s main restaurant, the Pra-Suthon offers Royal Thai dishes using ancient recipes that have been enjoyed by the upper crust of Thai society for generations. There is also a wide variety of western dishes and fusion food to choose from. Nora’s director of Food and Beverage Khun Mattawan has worked in five-star resorts around the region and prides himself on ingredients and many of the resort’s herbs and vegetables are grown in the lush surrounding gardens.
Each morning from seven till eleven, Nora hosts a buffet breakfast offering many different dishes from around the world. From bacon and eggs to fruit and freshly cooked breads, you’re bound to find some comfort food when you eat breakfast at Nora.
