Zara Beach resort, "Glorious Dawn" in ancient language, is a small luxury resort with 12 plunge pool villas, a main pool, a restaurant and a spa on the Northern end of Lamai beach. The resort was designed to inspire a greener life with wild trees, plants and flower gardens while its accommodation would provide ample space and privacy for each guest. The resort is situated in lush gardens offering a refreshing ambience.
Meanwhile you just have to cross the small bridge over the natural small canal to get to the beach front of Lamai beach. The resort was designed to provide privacy for its guests from the outside world as well as within its own walls. While near the beach, the resort is in walking distance to nearby restaurants, shops and entertainment where you can enjoy time with your family or with your friends. Zara Beach Resort allows ultimate relaxation for guests in a true tropical environment.
The gardens and other natural partitions create the feeling of space and calmness that guests expect in their own sanctuary. Each unit except the superior villa has its own plunge pool and the Royal Pool Villa has its own pool with sunken sun bed to enjoy. A dining table is also provided in the Double Bedroom and their Royal Pool units for further intimacy for our guest meals.

Superior Villa
The Superior villa is set amongst the resorts tropical landscaped gardens. This is an ideal location for people wishing to have a hassle free stay. As a 1 bedroom villa with a total area of around 48sqm it offers a charming blend of contemporary and Asian touches and is our entry level Villa to the resort.
An ideal place for affordable luxury, young couples or individual travelers willing to enjoy a few days or a long holiday of luxury at a very convenient price.

Grand Suite Plunge Pool
The Grand Suite Plunge Pool is a 1 bedroom Villa offering a total area of around 74sqm. This villa has a private terrace as well as a private plunge pool. The main living area has a comfortable L shape sofa and Flat screen TV in the lounge. The bedroom has en-suite bathroom and shower. Decorated in a contemporary romantic design, using quality materials and furnishings combining Asian and western Decor. This Villa can accommodate up to 2 adults. An extra bed is available on request.
With 6 units the Grand Suite Plunge Pool villas are the main focus of the resort and represent the soul of Zara Beach Resort.
GSPP1 and GSPP2 are the two villas facing the sea and are the closest to the Zara Pool Bar.
GSPP1 With its white color terrazzo design this villa will give you a sense of relaxation as soon as you walk in. Indulge yourself in the heavenly white plunge pool sipping a Zara Pool cocktail and start to enjoy your deserved holiday.
GSPP2 dark grey color terrazzo awakes feelings of passion and a bit of transgression. Further away from the bar but with a far better sea view. This villa is ideal for couples and young families. A bigger sofa, good for young children (or sofa bed) and a perfect plunge pool surrounded by coconuts and ferns giving you more privacy and a good shade when most needed.
GSPP4 White Terrazzo design, a combination between the Grand Suite Plunge Pool and Garden Pool Villa enjoying a beautiful garden view in a secluded area. Perfect for couples or individual guest looking for privacy and romance.
GSPP5 Dark Grey Terrazzo design with garden view. One of the most private Plunge Pool Villas, ideal for couples and small group of friends (max 3 people).
GSPP10 & GSPP12 The last 2 Plunge Pool Villas are what we call her ‘the Twin villas’. The Twins are the same in terms of color and style. They are located in front of one another and therefore a great answer to big families’ needs, two couples or group of friends willing to stay in separate accommodations but still very close to each other. GSPP10 is one of the best Grand Suite Villas and will soon become a Garden Plunge Pool Villa thanks to its private garden area right in front of the plunge pool; it’s secluded, safe and sunny, perfect for young families looking for an affordable luxury accommodation. With large space for kids to play around always at their parents eye sight.

Garden Plunge Pool Villa
Similar in design to the Grand Suite Plunge Pool, the Garden Plunge Villa offers more ample space to enjoy the garden area with natural partitions to create a feeling of space and calmness guests. An outdoor daybed allows you to relax on the terrace by your private plunge pool and enjoy the relaxing nature and comfort of the picturesque garden surroundings. This Villa can accommodate up to 2 adults. An extra bed is available on request.
GPPV3 This Garden Plunge Pool Villa probably has the best sea view of the entire resort. Dark Grey terrazzo design, very exclusive with its private garden. As a Neighbor to the SPA this villa will share the relaxing music and waterfall sound during lazy afternoons and a relaxing massage and harmonizing yoga class.
GPPV11 This villa is the ultimate accommodation solution in terms of privacy and elegance. The only villa with parquet floor, very cozy and charming. The biggest landscaped private garden, with its own outdoor "marble bench" and umbrella; perfect atmosphere for a peaceful reading afternoon

Royal Pool Villa
With the second largest pool out of all the Villas our Royal Pool Villa is romantically draped and covered terraces that add to the feeling of space and calm in your own private sanctuary in paradise. With features and decor composed of a charming blend of modern Western and Asian styles. The terrace overlooks plants and trees with a natural canal in front that separates the resort from the beach edge.
The Royal Pool villa is the ultimate combination of privacy and luxury. Originally designed for honeymooners, this villa is perfect for couples and ‘secret lovers’ Bringing out the deepest passion for one another!! The only villa with a huge bathtub and bathroom view overlooking the beach.
The queen-size covered sun bed gives you the opportunity to indulge yourself with one of our in-villa massages; the plunge pool villa is the only villa with a stunning sea view and marble shaped sun bed inside the pool that gives the possibility to comfortably sunbathe while enjoying the water.

Double Pool Villa
These larger Villas have 2 bedrooms with double beds. Bedrooms are located either side of the main lounge area. In the lounge area is a dining table with large sofa which can be enjoyed by guests in this spacious Villa. Decorated throughout keeping in mind a contemporary romantic design and open feel with a local touch of decorations such as Buddha statues, and a total area of 148sqm the Double Pool Villas is spacious and comfortable for two couples or a family. There is a large plunge pool and terrace area with two daybeds to relax around the pool; overlooking the tropical gardens and trees. This Villa can accommodate up to 4 adults. An extra bed is available on request.
Top accommodation in terms of living space and privacy. DPV6,7 and DPV8,9 have a White color Terrazzo or a Dark Grey color. These villas have been accurately designed for big families (for up to 6 guests) or group of friends.
The Plunge Pool is twice as big as the others, it’s fun and it’s safe. The villas are well positioned for sunny afternoon spent catching up with old friends or playing around with your kids by the pool in harmony with the natural garden surroundings.

Resort Lay Out
Welcome to Zara Beach Resort - At the entrance you are greeted by the reception area. With a unique feel to the decor and open layout you will notice at first sight how special this resort is. From here you can see the main swimming pool and bar to your right hand side. Once you walk from the reception area you will pass through a natural stone doorway and follow the winding path through the resort gardens.
To your left are the Grand Suite Villas and Garden suite Villas. As you walk further through the resort you will be amongst nature with tall tropical trees and landscaped gardens overlooking a natural canal and banking with views of the ocean.
Small statues and features are placed throughout the gardens. At the top end of the resort are the other Double Pool Villas and Grand Suite Villas. Once you arrive to the center of the resort you will be greeted by the entrance to the resort Spa.
Opposite the spa area you have a wooden bridge crossing the short gap over the canal to go directly on the beach. And close to here you can see the Royal Pool Villa and Superior Villa. Once you cross the bridge you are on the beach and can see our Zeni Beach Club.
